[SSS06-P04] Microseismic Monitoring and Stress Inversion: before the 2018 Mw 6.4 Hualien earthquake and 2019 ML 6.0 Ilan earthquake
キーワード:Northeast Taiwan, stress inversion, microseismic
In 2020, we have been in difficulty at applying traditional research methods of Earth Science because of the COVID-19 outbreak. This study aims to make the most of the microseismic events, which are often excluded in stress-optical studies in the past, to gain extra information that was not able to measure in the past. Therefore, we will be able to acquire more detailed information on seismogenic structure and stress state in specific areas. Through 3D velocity structure re-location, ray-tracing technique, and stress inversion method of the entire event, this study will be able to apply seismic data more objectively and more accurately. This way will ensure the result more credibility due to the fact that the study avoids the influence of subjective consciousness and introduce the concept of confidence limits. The result shows that the seismogenic structure of Northeast Taiwan is under complex influences of Philippine Sea Plate subduction and Okinawa Trough open. The seismic activity is complicated. Through increasing microseismic data and microzonation, we will be able to understand thoroughly the distribution of the space in the seismogenic structure of that area. Furthermore, this will offer the background stress information that the study needs when we study stress-transfer in the future.<gdiv></gdiv>
