[4H1-GS-11b-02] Towards the robotization of society and digitalization of governments

- under the pandemic of COVID19 -

These days the implementation of Robotics seems to be facing the difficulty to match with the needs to interact with the spontaneous reaction of human. Still, the expectation for Robotics doesn’t disappear. We are now entering into the new paradigm - the robotization of our society itself. IoT, A.I., e-Services, MaaS, and Digital Government too. From my point of view, “Robotics” is the word which can be used as similar to designing the whole society as automation unit, because it is possible to say that our society is about to be robotized. By facing with such a paradigm shift, I set one of question from the example; what is the impact of Digital Government. we have to face the question; “how each citizen can get involve with the decision making process with digitalization of governments?” “Who is the final responsible to support the technology to provide the government service with digitalization?” “Will the social role and responsibility change for government in the future?” The author will challenge these questions based on COVID-19’s reaction and government in Japan.
