SCAINs (Statements Crucial for Awareness of Interpretive Nonsense) are statements that have a significant impact on the interpretation of the statements of the interlocutor (called core statement). However, conventional SCAINs identification methods only identify them from the pair of statements immediately preceding the core statement that is the target of interpretation. The purpose of this paper is to identify SCAINs that simulate missed statements in the past of the core statement, which have not been considered in conventional SCAINs. In this paper, we propose D-SCAINs (Distant SCAINs), which is an extension of conventional SCAINs. We evaluated whether missing statements distant from the core statement are also important for humans to interpret the core statement. The results showed that the closer the missed statement was to the core statement, the more likely it was to have a significant impact on the interpretation of the core statement.
