We develop a new configuration of Brillouin optical correlation-domain reflectometry by sophisticated electrical signal processing. Through a variety of demonstrations, we experimentally show that this system can satisfy many advantages simultaneously, such as (1) ultrahigh-speed operation (strain sampling rate of up to 100 kHz), (2) intrinsically one-end-access interrogation, (3) high spatial resolution, (4) wide strain dynamic range (up to > 2.0%), (5) high signal-to-noise ratio, and (6) system simplicity and cost efficiency.
