[15p-PB2-13] Effects of Plasma Jet on ROS Supply into Liquid Bottom
Keywords:Non-thermal plasma,Reactive oxygen species,Plasma medicine
The supply of reactive oxygen species (ROS) to a target through liquid by plasma jet should be clarified. In this study, a non-thermal plasma jet was irradiated onto the water surface in atmospheric air, and the ROS reaching the water bottom were detected using a gel reagent with iodine-starch reactions. This time, effects of a plasma jet on the ROS supply into a liquid bottom were studied with comparing ozone exposure. Flow and mixing effects induced by plasma jet may play important roles on the ROS supply into water bottom. We will report the results under various experimental conditions, e.g. a thickness of liquid layer, irradiation distance and supplied gas flow rate.
