△ [20a-W242-4] Nanocrystallization of charge transfer (CT) complex including fullerene molecules

Organic solar cells have attracted much attention due to their promising properties such as mechanical flexibility, light weight and potential low production cost. However, there is the problem of the energy loss in case of the electric charge separation. Therefore we focus attention on the CT complex which separated an electric charge with photon absorption. In this study, we performed the nanocrystallization of CT complex including fullerene molecules. C60/ferrocene, C60/5,10,15,20-tetrakis(4-methoxyphenyl)porphyrinato cobalt(II)(CoTMPP), and C60/bis(ethylenedithio)tetrathiafulvalene(BEDT-TTF) were used as fullerene complex and their nanocrystals prepared by reprecipitation method. Prepared nanocrystals were characterized by means of SEM, FT-IR, UV-NIR absorption spectra, XRD, etc. Experimental conditions and results will be discussed.
