[6p-C18-3] Circularly polarized light emitting diodes with high polarization at room temperature

In semiconductor spintronics, spin-LED devices have been used as a tool to estimate spin polarization in semiconductor. We have studied it to develop to practical device. Recently, we have reported room-temperature electroluminescence with almost-100% circular polarization from spin-LEDs and the functionalities of electrical helicity switching and tuning of polarization. In the presentation, I’ll also show the future prospect of this device.
