We propose a fast calculation method for a holographic 3D display using a convex parabolic mirror by area segmentation. This treatment enables paraxial approximation and fast Fourier transform by limiting the hologram area to be calculated. The depth information of a 3D object is considered every segmented sub-hologram, At the boundary area, continuity of wavefronts has been maintained, and the quality of the reconstructed image has improved.
