In this talk, we will present a technology that enables spectrally-selective emission (absorption) at temperatures above 1000°C by using a metal-dielectric hetero-material multilayer structure. We will also introduce a heat-to-electricity conversion technology based on thermophotovoltaic power generation using this technology.
