△ [20p-C105-14] Thermally stable n-type carbon nanotubes created by organic superbase doping
Keywords:carbon nanotube, doping, thermoelectric
n-Type carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are important components of future electronic and energy devices. However, the n-doped states of CNTs are usually not stable at elevated temperatures, which limits the applications of n-type CNTs for such devices. Here, we found that bicyclic-ring organic superbases can effectively reduce CNTs to create n-type materials with outstanding thermal stability in air. As an example of energy device, a thermoelectric p/n junction module with a good power output will be reported.
