△ [20p-C301-17] Proposal and demonstration of light-sheet Brillouin scattering microscopy
Keywords:Brillouin light scattering, Picosecond ultrasonics, Cell imaging
We report light-sheet Brillouin scattering microscopy that enables single-shot two-dimensional imaging of cellular elasticity. We realized it by extending our dispersive coherent Brillouin scattering spectroscopy, which achieves high-speed Brillouin oscillation measurement by multi-channel detection of time-domain Brillouin oscillations in the frequency domain, into the two-dimensional measurement. Here, we present experimental results showing the possibility of achieving three-orders faster image acquisition than the previous world's fastest Brillouin scattering microscopy.
