△ [18a-B409-2] Investigation of high ion conductivity switching material by concerted effect of light-responsive units
Keywords:light-responsive material, ion conductor, conductivity switching
We synthesized a novel metal complex composed of Fe ions and ligands containing two light-responsive units, and its structure was revealed by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction study. For this complex, the light-induced ion conductivity switching property was investigated. We found that the on/off ratio of the ion conductivity switching was relatively low (~102) when either of the two light-responsive units was isomerized. By contrast, high and reversible ion conductivity switching was achieved with the on/off ratio of up to 105 when both light-responsible units were isomerized at the same time due to the concerted effect.
