[VI-505] Study on rational repair method of steel rail girder with corrosion loss
Keywords:Steel structure, Corrosion defect girder, Truss reinforcement
It is expected that the number of railway structures that have deteriorated over time will increase in the future. On the other hand, it is difficult to secure workers, and a rational repair method that can cope with an increase in the amount of maintenance is required. In this study, we focused on an I-shaped steel girder that is widely used in railway structures, and studied how to repair and reinforce a steel girder that has lost corrosion. At present, reinforced plate to cover the entirety of the defect is the mainstream, but truss reinforcement is proposed as a new option, and the effect of rigidity and load capacity is examined from three-dimensional FEM analysis.
