Dr. Mori J Morikawa, the Ann S. & Anthony J. Asher Professor in Family Medicine & Community Health, School of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, USA, is the Director of Inpatient Service and the Global Health Track in the Family Medicine Residency Program. His passion is to teach residents and medical students at the bedside to help them grow as competent physicians who can provide care wherever they go. Dr. Morikawa has received numerous teaching awards from his residents. He was also recognized with the 2002 Humanism in Medicine Award by the Association of American Medical Colleges and Pfizer Medical Humanities Initiative, the 2011 Family Medicine Educator of the Year by the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP), and the 2012 Exemplary Teaching Award by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). He loves to work out at the gym, enjoy nature, and garden with his wife, Hikari.
