[005] SoftBank Corp. / ALES Corp. / Consortium to utilize the SoftBank original reference sites for Earth and Space Science
Introducing SB and ALES' RTK services and how they are utilized, along with CSESS initiatives
SoftBank Corp. offers the RTK service "ichimill", which enables centimeter-level accuracy positioning by using signals received from GNSS, including the Quasi-Zenith Satellite System "Michibiki." (QZSS)
The RTK service can be utilized for automating construction machinery at construction sites, improving site management efficiency, automated control of drone flight paths, and autonomous driving.
We can provide services tailored to our customers' needs, such as inexpensive dual-frequency GNSS receivers (LC01) equipped with communications modules and correction data distribution services using the Ntrip protocol.

Consortium to utilize the SoftBank original reference sites for Earth and Space Science aims to commercialize research results in the field of earth science and create new earth sciences by utilizing data from SoftBank's high-density GNSS observation network (exclusive reference sites).
The core activities focus on verifying data utilization methods in various earth science fields, such as earthquake and meteorology, with significant contributions expected in predicting natural disasters and enhancing disaster prevention and mitigation. Based on the research results, SoftBank and ALES plan to commercialize services and propose disaster prevention and mitigation strategies.Additionally, the consortium will advance research in fields such as earthquakes, volcanology, meteorology, and the ionosphere.
