ナトリウム冷却高速炉の崩壊熱除去機能に影響を及ぼす外部ハザードの組み合わせ(重畳事象)を相互影響の観点から選定した。選定された重畳事象の1つとして、低温と積雪の重畳ハザードに着目し、重畳事象発生から炉心損傷に至り得るイベントツリーを構築し、炉心損傷頻度を定量化した。
