Keywords:criticality accident, energy, radiolytic gas void, constant rate reactivity insertion, modified quasi-steady-state method

For the criticality accident with intense oscillation in power due to radiolytic gas void in nuclear fuel solution, an equation has been derived based on pseudo-steady state method, by which equation the fission-energy is expressed as a function of elapsed time and inserted reactivity. It has been confirmed that the results obtained by using the equation show better agreement to experimental data than those obtained by pseudo-steady state method.
