In order to increase the effectiveness of minor actinide partitioning and transmutation (MA P&T) technology, the basic research has carried out for the realization of the flexible waste management method which stores the granular calcined form of the high level waste (HLW). This paper describes key technologies for the practical development of the flexible waste management method, and reports densification and uniformity of the simulated granular calcined waste as one of the key technology.
