[1H10] Advance of biosphere assessment method and setting of transfer processes model by considering near-surface hydrological feature.
Keywords:Biosphere assessment, transfer process, near-surface hydrology, geosphere biosphere interface
In the biosphere assessment of the H12 report, the dose conversion factor was calculated by using the simplified biosphere assessment model that was represented transfer processes in the surface environment and stylized exposure pathways. The model is able to be applied to the reference site condition. However, more detailed model is needed to assess the real site condition to represent the realistic Japanese land use or complicated near-surface hydrological situation. In this study, we improved the migration process model by revising the compartments with considering Japanese surface water supply. Furthermore, the plural GBIs (geosphere biosphere interfaces) setting became possible, and the distribution status of the radioactive nuclides among the compartments would be calculated more comprehensively.
