Thermodynamic equilibrium calculations were carried out for two types of dual-phase stainless steel to evaluate the influence of the temperature and constituent elements on the stability of the G phase. It was found that the stability of the G phase is dependent on the Ni, Mn, Cr, Si and Mo content.
