The calculated response for the radioactive noble gas monitor by using the radiation Monte-Carlo simulation code was compared to the response obtained by the actual gas-loop testing performed in National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), and the applicability of the Monte-Carlo code to the equipment design of the monitor was evaluated.
