[2N15] Development of A Mobile 3.95 MeV Electron Linac-driven Neutron Source for On-site Non-destructive-testing of Concrete Bridges

The major cause of corrosion of rebars is the invasion of oxide ions and chloride ions by the free water reaching the rebars. A backscatter neutron moisture detection system was developed. The crack detection experiments of concrete structures was conducted, in order to detect free water penetration paths.
