既設原子炉格納容器に追加補強を実施する場合を想定し、縮尺模型を用いた座屈試験から部分補強の有効性を検証した。また試験に対応するFEM静的弾塑性座屈解析を実施したところ、部分補強材の有無に関わらず解析から座屈強度を安全側に評価可能であり、耐震強度評価に解析を用いる事の妥当性を確認した。
