As fire behaviors in a confined and mechanically ventilated compartment have not been fully investigated, it is necessary
to accumulate the basic knowledge to assess such an internal fire risk in nuclear installations.

This report describes the results of a fire zone model simulation to the single compartment fire tests which were performed in the framework of the OECD
Nuclear Energy Agency programs PRISME.
