JAEA has been carried out the Mizunami Underground Research Laboratory Project (MIU Project) in Mizunami city, Gifu, Japan. The MIU Project has been ongoing the Operation Phase (Phase III). As part of the Phase III investigation, development of mass transport modeling methodology has been carried out.
