As national budget project of Development of Fundamental Technologies for Retrieval of Fuel Debris and Internal Structures, we now engages in development of new boring technique for fuel debris cutting and retrieval. Design and manufacture of test model of remotely operated robot boring machine, bit and cuttings slurry retrieval/storage equipment was completed and cutting performance test with the use of mock test piece was successfully put in execution.
