[2I18] Metal ions screening using a novel photonic crystal polymer gel containing azo-typed crown ether

We have developed photonic crystal sensor consisting of colloidal silica particles and thermos-responsive polymers for performing simple and rapid metal ion analysis.
In this study, we succeeded to synthesize a novel photonic crystal polymer gel including azo-typed crown ether molecules, and realized the selective detection of alkaline and alkaline earth metals.
