[2G03] Evaluation of Adsorption Properties of Am(III) on Inorganic Adsorbents

Distribution properties of Am(III) for various inorganic adsorbents were evaluated un der the different solution conditions in order to clarify the adsorption behavior of Am(III) in the decontamination process. The adsorbents of CST and tin antimonate had a large uptake(%) above 80% in Am(III)/boric acid/diluted seawater, and the adsorption was governed by ion exchange and surface precipitation of hydrolysis species.
