除染廃棄物は中間貯蔵開始後30年以内の最終処分を見据え、その再生利用が求められている。廃棄物のうち放射性焼却灰の再生利用には、放射性セシウムの不溶化や用途に応じた性能が求められる。ここでは、ジオポリマー固化技術に着目し、焼却灰の特性を活かした貯蔵容器の製作方法と性能について報告する。
