模擬高レベル放射性廃液中のNa濃度とイエローフェーズ(YP)生成量の関係を調べた結果，Na濃度を低減させた場合にYP生成量が減少することがわかった。廃液中Na濃度の低減分を原料ガラス側にあらかじめ添加しておけば，作製するガラス固化体の組成を変化させずにYPの生成抑制が可能である。
