In the fusion neutron sources, Deuterium by the beam and Tritium generated by nuclear transmutation is continuously dissolved in the liquid Li target. Therefore, hydrogen removal is required. To improve hydrogen removal efficiency, we considered the improvement of chemical properties by suspending metallic nanoparticles to liquid Li used in fusion neutron source.First, Metals for nanoparticles were selected by quantum chemical calculation analysis. The nanoparticles were suspended in Li and hydrogen release characteristics were measured. The hydrogen release temperature was lower for nanoparticles suspended in Li compared to pure Li.
