In the plutonium fuel production facility of nuclear fuel cycle engineering laboratory of JAEA, new measures to prevent fire damage for the glove box handling nuclear fuel material were investigated. The measures were to seal non-burnable or flame-retardant sheets on acrylic window plates. In this study, the combustion test and the test for the assuming fire were conducted, and the influence of the fire on non-burnable or flame-retardant sheets was evaluated.
