Keywords:High sensitivity , Multi-layer Compton camera, Decommissioning

The purpose of this research is to develop a multilayer Compton camera with high sensitivity to MeV gamma-rays for the clearance measurement application in decommissioning of nuclear power plants. The multilayer Compton camera could be an instrument that can acquire not only low energy gamma rays but also high energy gamma rays in clearance test material to help classification of the nuclear waste. The multilayer Compton camera offers a potential of high-efficiency measurement and imaging capability to give a better quality of the analysis result.
