Keywords:Pure tungsten, Selective laser melting, 3D printing

Pure tungsten was used as the raw material powder for selective laser melting (3D printing), which enables rapid and complex shapes to be produced from 3D data, and the densification behavior of the tungsten specimens was investigated. As a result of evaluating the density of the specimens obtained by changing the laser irradiation conditions using the Archimedes method, it was found that the relative density is 98.2% at maximum. Furthermore, as a result of analyzing the gas component released from the defect inside the specimen using a quadrupole mass spectrometer, it was found that the specimen contains argon introduced as an inert gas at buildging process.
