超音波非破壊材料評価法のうち水浸局部共振高調波法を原子炉容器の照射脆化の評価に適用することを検討した。原子炉容器鋼について局部共振高調波振幅に高エネルギー電子線照射の有無による差が認められ、照射ミクロ組織変化を非破壊的に評価できる可能性が見出された。
