Stabilization of radioactive materials including fuel debris was one of the most important work steps to ensure the safety during the fuel debris retrieval.
In this study, an alternative method to retrieve fuel debris in Fukushima Daiichi NPP is proposed, where geopolymer is used for semi-stabilization of fuel debris.
