Several geopolymers were made with different methakaolins at a same formulation, and the volume changes due to heating were investigated. As a result, it was found that although the solidified body cracks, there are geopolymers that reduce the apparent volume almost by half after cooling down. The volume variation rate depended on each metakaolin.
