使用済燃料の部分欠損検認のために推定画像を用いたベイズ型逐次近似法に基づくパッシブγ線断層撮影技術を開発し、欠損燃料棒を含むモックアップ燃料集合体内のパッシブγ線源分布の画像再構成、及び欠損燃料棒の判別のための畳み込みニューラルネットワークを用いた画像解析を実施した。
