[1N01] Excitation energy dependence of the 236U, 240Pu fission fragment TKE in the four-dimensional Langevin model.
Keywords:Nuclear data, Langevin equations, Nuclear physics, Nuclear fission, Kinetic Energy
It is important to deepen the understanding of reaction processes in uranium and plutonium fission since it leads to knowledge on reactors and waste management. 3-dimensional Langevin equations have been used to gain insight into kinetic energy during fission. However, there is not suitable for fission calculation at low energy. Therefore, the 4-dimensional Langevin equation was developed. In this study, excitation energies dependence of the TKE (Total Kinetic Energy) of 236U and 240Pu fission fragments was calculated by the 4-dimensional Langevin equation. As a result, it was possible to obtain a tendency that the kinetic energy decreased with the increase of excitation energy, and the state of division could be reproduced well.
