To evaluate the effect of cross-section uncertainty in deep penetration problems, Total Monte Carlo method is applied to each of 1000 random cross-section data those which are generated using two different methods of T6 system and SANDY which is based on covariance data. The error evaluation for the neutron dose of the concrete deep penetration problem due to the uncertainty of 28Si cross section is carried out. From the comparison of T6 system and SANDY, it is suggested that the data of energy-angle dependence in cross-section covariance are important.
