Our group has measured photo-neutron spectrum for the (g,n) reaction using mono-energetic polarized photons. In previous presentation, we identified the evaporation and direct components on the neutron energy spectra of (g,n) reaction for medium-heavy targets. Kirihara et al. showed the direct component of Au target has angular distribution of a + b·cos(2Θ). Thus, we took experimental data of double differential cross-section of the (g,xn) reaction on Pb, Au, Sn, Cu, Fe and Ti targets for 16.6 MeV polarized photons, then discuss angular distribution of direct components. Mono-energetic polarized photon beam was prepared with laser Compton backscattering technique at BL1, NewSUBARU. NE213 scintillation neutron detectors, the time of flight and pulse shape discrimination techniques were employed for neutron spectroscopy. By integrating experimental double differential cross-sections, the angular differential cross-section of the direct components were determined. They followed a + b·cos(2Θ) distribution, as well as the Au(g,n) reaction
