Keywords:FeCrAl alloys, Irradiation damage, Density Function Theory, Dislocation loop

The mechanism of dislocation loop formation in FeCrAl alloys, which have been developed as an accident tolerant fuel cladding material, was investigated on the basis of irradiation experiment and theoretical calculation. The effect of Cr and Al on the loop formation are different. It seemed that Cr suppressed the formation of <100> type loop as interstitials, while Al did as substitutions.
