原子炉圧力容器の健全性評価で使用される試験および評価技術の基礎を習得するための人材育成実習を実施した。日本電気協会規程ＪＥＡＣ４２０１およびＪＥＡＣ４２０６に沿う評価の概要を座学で学んだ後、主要な試験技術であるシャルピー衝撃試験および破壊靭性試験について実習を行い、試験機の動作原理と評価に用いるパラメータの物理的意味の習得するプログラムとした。実習では、延性―脆性遷移温度の異なる二種類の材料および複数の試験温度を組み合わせて試験条件を設定し、延性破壊と脆性破壊の破壊形態の差異を確認するとともに、これらが用いる材料や試験温度に応じて遷移していくことを実感できるよう配慮した。
