(17)Solid-liquid Phase Transition Temperature of TiN and Thermodynamic Behavior of Nitride Fuels

For titanium nitride and zirconium nitride as a matrix phase of nitride fuel, the dependence of solid-liquid phase transition temperature on nitrogen partial pressure was evaluated using the non-contact laser heating method. In addition, the thermo-physical properties of these nitride as well as actinide nitrides in the fuel rod were discussed based on the data obtained during this project.
