Domestic deployment scenario of sodium-cooled metal fuel fast reactor (SFR) was investigated. In the scenario, it was assumed that the first SFR is deployed at 2040, and the light water reactor decommissioned is replaced by the SFR after 2090. We evaluated that the amount of Pu necessary for new fuel toward the equilibrium period of SFR deployment could be recovered from the spent fuel generated in Japan. Therefore, domestic deployment of the SFR will be achievable in the view point of the Pu balance.
