Based on the domestic introduction scenario of the series (2), the core characteristics of the small metal fuel core were evaluated using the fresh fuel composition evaluated in the dry reprocessing and the metal fuel production study of the series (3). The core concepts were created for both of the introduction-phase using fuel obtained by metal-converting MOX powder from the domestic light water reactor UO2 spent fuel and the transition-phase using the fuel obtained by dry reprocessing the LWR-MOX spent fuel. The targets of the average discharge fuel burnup and the breeding ratio were achieved.
