Waste treatment technology for pyroprocessing of MA-containing fuels is being developed in this study. Electrolytic extraction of Ce dissolved in a LiCl-KCl eutectic melt was conducted using Si cathode. The obtained Ce silicide was then vitrified for geological disposal.
