In order to develop an evaluation method related to the development of the sacrificial material that promotes molten core cooling, the purpose of this study is to confirm the effects when the sacrificial material is applied to nuclear power plant by analysis. The spreading behavior of the molten core is evaluated by CFD analysis, and the response of nuclear power plant was simulated by the MAAP code. The effect of the sacrificial material was evaluated, and the effectiveness of the sacrificial material was confirmed.
