[3G07] Coalesced-Bubble Lift-off Diameter in Forced Convective Subcooled Boiling

In subcooled flow boiling, OSV (Onset of Significant Void) is important because void fraction increases sharply after that. We have experimentally investigated the process for the formation of large bubbles after OSV. Relation of the lift-off probability of coalesced bubbles and its diameter, and the effect of turbulent eddy through a pipe was surveyed.
