The Integral Molten Salt Fast Reactor (IMSFR) system using chloride molten salt fuel is proposed. In addition to surveying overseas researches, the authors are conducting research from the viewpoints of nuclear data, reactor physics, physico-chemical properties of salt, kinetic characteristics and safety, TRU trasmutation/combustion characteristics, material corrosion, fuel processing, nuclear proliferation and so on.
